EPG stands for Electronic Program Guide — the on-screen schedule that shows what's currently playing and what's coming up next across every channel, usually laid out as a scrollable grid. It's included as standard on every Voco TV plan.
Instead of flipping through channels one by one, the EPG lets you see a full day (or several days) of programming at a glance across the full channel lineup, so you can plan what to watch or jump straight to a specific show when it airs.
Most IPTV player apps also let you tap an upcoming EPG entry to set a reminder, so you don't have to remember to switch channels manually when your show starts. See our device compatibility guide for which apps support this on your setup.
If your app supports catch-up TV, the EPG doubles as your rewind menu — programs that already aired often show a small replay icon, letting you watch something you missed directly from the schedule instead of hunting through an on-demand library.
If your guide looks empty or out of date, the fix is usually a simple one: refresh the EPG data from your player app's settings menu, since guide data updates independently from the live channel streams themselves. More setup help is in our FAQ.
